Wu Yi Oolong -
$7.95 (3.5 oz bag) - NEW
Also called Wulong. This is a moderately oxidized Oolong tea from China with a dark orange liquor with an earthy taste. Dry leaves are large, partially rolled, dark brown in color and when brewed, completely unfurls.

This tea is also reputed for it’s weight-loss properties. Highly acclaimed as a diet tea, much has been said about remarkable results. We, as tea professionals ask you to try this tea as a nice tea that tastes good rather than for it’s other properties. If you find beneficial results from this tea, so much the better. Recommended brewing vessel – Bonjour Harmony 35 oz glass tea pot with infuser.

Formosa Oolong -
$6.95 (3.5 oz bag) - NEW
This is a mixed size leaf tea, made from a particular hybrid grown in mainland China. Tea leaves are lightly rolled and oxidization is at around 50%, making the liquor light brown in color. This degree of oxidization falls in the middle range of green teas and black teas. We suggest a little honey with this tea for added taste. Brew it light (1 gram per cup of tea), preferably in a glass cup or mug. Leaves will unfurl and sink to the bottom. Steep for 4 – 5 minutes at a water temperature of 200 F. Any variation from this norm will not dramatically affect the taste of the tea, but it is best to adhere to it if possible. Recommended brewing vessel – Bonjour Harmony 35 oz glass tea pot with infuser.
